Creating something more than just a bike shop, more than a place to get your bike serviced. Shon wants to create a centre that nourishes the culture of cycling, a place for like-minded people to get together, share stories, encourage each other, and ride together. Shon's vision is to have a centre for bike culture that would be an attraction in and of itself, including food and drinks being offered.
Shon has over 30 years of experience as a bike mechanic and 10 years as a ski tech. He can work with any equipment from novice to elite.
Janis is a Kinesiologist and has over 25 years experience racing and coaching triathlon (swimming, biking, running), and cross country skiing.

At Shon's Bike and Ski Shop, our primary goal is to ensure that you get outside and enjoy all the wonderful recreation opportunities available in Nakusp and Area! We specialize in mountain biking and road cycling gear and services. We are a four season store with equipment and service for cross-country and downhill skiing as well. We can gear you up with all the essentials you'll need and even point you in the right direction.
